    There are birding groups that post rare bird sightings
    I think she concentrated on an area where it had been seen a few times over the previous day or two. But still, a long shot.

    Would’ve been quite the sighting though!

    Last year, a Lammergeyer / Bearded Vulture strayed from the Alps and was seen in England. I was tempted to try and find it. But with the COVID situation, didn’t think driving around and stopping at various places was a good idea. :(

    It's our dog, easy to plan a week away with a house sitter but one night away isn't worth the hassle

    My trip to Namibia, where we stayed along the Orange River.

    And nearly drove over this poor guy when we left. Thankfully we missed him but as you can see, he was highly unimpressed..

    @T. Guppy

    Looks like you had a fantastic trip.
    Reminds me of a trip I did to the Northern Cape and the Richtersveld in the 90's

    This is the max wild as it gets here hahaha
    One venomous snake and the chance you'll encounter is smaller than to win the lotery.

    We "make" our own wild animals after getting rid of the real ones over the centuries.

    The panick arising about wolves entering the country on their own brrrrrr

    Thanks. Yeah those are wild hahahaha.
    Not entirely true. The Storks have had help to return to our country.

    Noticed 6 villages with a occupied Stork-nest. First time in 55 years !!![IMG][IMG]
