My new old 1800 tank!!! Yipeeeee

Iv'e got the tank filled up and almost ready to cycle, just a bit worried that the pump will suck the sump dry before it can be filled up again. But tommorow it D DAY :bigsmile::bigsmile::bigsmile:

You running a spray bar type return? Or what's the pipe running along the top of the tank?

Save yourself the headaches now, get a ball valve on the sump intake line

 

Yes that is a spray bar. I've started the system up and it is working very very good ha ha

I could not resist the temptation. I've aded 1 +- 25cm Oscar 2 Convicts and 2 Texan's. I've also aded stability so I've got my fingers crossed....

Just aded two Green Terrors, and it looks like the Oscar has taken too the smallest one.... Looks like they are to fast for him and there is a couple of hiding places so...

aded a jumbo Anubias, jumbo Java Fern and some Vallisneria for good measure. It seems if my big Oscar and all the other diggers are ok with the plants. Maybe time will tell but it is a start..
