I've seen it and my cousin used it but I have not.
I use Tetrapond aquasafe its much cheaper than the normal aquasafe. But I only use it when setting up a new tank as I use "boorgat" water.

Is "boorgat" water safe? I used daro aqua chlor 2 months back, then I learned about seachem prime. The blue aqua chloor oloured my matrix purple, should I replace the matrix? Is it still doing its job?

I live on a mango farm, but we don't use ferts and other chemicals.
The "boorgat" is about 36 meters deep(very shallow) and we pump all our water from it,including the water I use for my tanks.

I think your matrix is fine just colored.

matrix is your bio media you must not replace it. only thing you replace in filters if you use it is filter floss, carbon or purigen

Sorry, I rinsed my 100ml prime bottle with boiled kettle water, I want to give prime to someone, when I rinsed the bottle, the plastic got soft, almost if it was melting, when I threw the warm water out it hardened again, is the bottle still safe to use?

Everything is fine in my tank, keeping my nitrates down with regular partial water changes. My molly surprized me with babies today.

I have a 2 foot running for I think a week and a half, seeded it with my canister's medium. I'm guessing with gravel/sand heater, filter its about 45-50 liters. I have an internal 400l/h filter. Is this enough to handle a bio-load?

Look at azurekoi's post on this page. I also have used that product in the past, it works, but that blue colored crystals is a mess.

I need some info on lights for low tech plants(really easy and simple plants plants) at the moment I have two 30watt floglow lights, one is white and the other is pinkish, should I upgrade to higher wattage? Or other lights? Petstop told me about blue, red and white lights they sell and works together. Is this needed or not?

    Hi

Firstly regarding the rocks. It is not a good idea to boil rocks. If some rocks are heated up they will explode depending on the rock. I will not boil them at all. Rather use hot water and wash them.

For a hightec tank you will need about 3w per 4l. Since you want a low tec tank 2 t5 tubes 1.2 m tubes will fine. Color temp of 6500k

why is some of my fish swimming clamped fins? it's a molly and 3 platy's. they do this for the past 2 weeks. is this normal. tank parameters is fine
    ammonia 0
    nitrite 0
    nitrate 20
can't see what problem may cause this. i only added tetra complete substrate and microbe-lift bio carbon.
The fish eat normally and go on normally but sometimes swims on one place with top fin clamped and tail.

ehe i wanted to post pics but have a problem connecting my phone to the pc, i will try and figure it out asap, i bought skywhite tubes and added them, the tank is much brighter. i want to add 2 skywhite and one high glow 10000k light. I will have to get a timer to run my lights for 8 hours a day, otherwise im going to have algae probs!! i have a pinkish light in, but i removed it because it gives the tank a darker colour

Nice man I would not add the 10000k it will give you algae eventually rather stay with 6500k - 8000k t5 tubes.

Yeah get yourself a timer it works much better, you can run them for 30 minutes in the morning to make sure all is fine in the tank before you go to work and then let them run from 14h00 - 21h00

    All of us use them.
