You know i only have planted tanks aiming by december to have it high tec

 

I need to figure out how to get that tank from jhb to potch. Hmmm maybe rent a big trailor

 

trailors have quite bad suspension and the tank might break. I'd suggest a 4T truck if you can get access to one...

I need to collect the tank on saturday. Will only be set up end of april unfortunately. Its a new thing or me using a sump have no experience with it. Going to replace the 2x3ft sumps for a 4ft sump. Will try that nitrate cubes also, will call on the pta fundies to help me with this setup also. So jay will be learning something new!

 

I bought a tank 2 months back, same dimensions just 220 long not 300, had to get it down a narrow flight of stairs, could not get hold of anyone to help with the move , so I got 3 friends from varsity and 4 guys from the LFS aswell as my uncles Ford F250 and got it done with major stress. Such a beautiful tank good luck with the move and throw some monster cichlids in there

 

Thanx. Im already a wreck even by just the thought of moving it! Im not a fan of monster fish haha. Biggest i wil go is discus and angels. Only fish i like that grows big is my fire eel. And also i will be going planted on this one also. A tank without plants isnt a tank for me. Already growing loads of easy low light growing stems. Need some huge java ferns also!

 

When its all set up it will be worth it, do u know of any plants that would go with my cichlids ? They between 25-40 cm each and would really love some hardly plants in there for some colour

 

Would be awesome if you put one of those Submarine wrecks that one can get into this tank!

Id rather burn one of those fake submarine or shipwrecks. Haha. I will need alottty of people helpig to carry this tank. In potch its ine i can arrange that. But in jhb is the prolem

Again I'm soooo jealous of that tank of yours you have no idea.

Just a question? Is it not maybe easier to try get the old owner to keep it up in jhb until you move?

Still talking to the seller. Theres not alot of comunication. So will have to see what happens.

 

What area in JHB is the tank. Maybe a few of the local TASA members can help you move the tank into the truck.
