my 2,4M tank!

Wow, looking at your 2.4m planted up like that makes me wonder if down-scaling to a 1.2m tank is such a good idea for me! But my tank is almost 20 years old and is 600 high which I find awkward when having to hand feed my eel. I am going to down-scale and plant it up nicely as I have completely neglected my 2.4m tank over the years. Thanks for the inspiration!

 

Thats the big reason why I went so shallow had a 80cm deep tank and never again. Maintenance is much easier in the shallow tank. But such a big high tech planted tank with fast growing plants is alot of effort. Enjoyung the reef tank niw much less work

So this is how it looks like now. Sold off most coral want to get other species. So not buying to fill tank any more rather waiting for nicer stuff....

 

Kwaliteit kom altyd teen 'n prys! Jou tank lyk great. Dis seker ook maar 'n tydsame storie met die regtige mooi coral wat so duur is?

Haha snaakse naam. Het jy rerig iemand wat vir jou n haai uitbroei? Die longhorn cowfish lyk meer soos n paddatjie of n verkleurmannietjie as n vissie, baie nice.

 

Die haai is links voor ini teen die venster ek wag dat hy in my tank uitbroei..... ja cowfish is baie cool interact baie pulik met mense.

 

Funny how these things are perceived. I went from marine tanks to freshwater and I think that it's a ton less work now! You go the other way round with the same result! I think that what actually happens, is that we become tired of doing the same thing over and over and then it starts to feel like work. A change, and suddenly it's exciting again, not like work at all.
