 okaaay didn't know that. They are so pretty. I am considering getting 1 or 2 German blue rams for the tank along with a pair of angels. Will it be OK?

Although many keep Angels in a 3 footer,I find it just a bit small on the space side for them... Especially when and if they start breeding.... Angels to me only come into their own in a 4 foot or larger.... go for the Rams! get some from Altum,he's in CT btw, he has some that wont just die on you like the ones you find in most LFS's.
Add some cool Tetras,a small school of Cory's and voila - nice Amazon themed aquarium with fish perfectly suited to the soft water conditions you guys have in Cape Town.

:) That's exactly what I'm aiming for. I am going to get some cory's and tetras (not sure which though) and 2 Angels.

I got some plants from @Gert Combrink too, which I planted.

I looks like most plants are doing OK with no CO2 but some excel. I'll have to wait and see.

I was waiting for a comment like that. It's my dad's, but give the camera to a noob and he'll make it look like cellphone pics. But thanks. I'm pretty chuffed about the pics.

Nope and nope again...something infinitely rarer and cooler(in my loach rimmed glasses view of the world...lol) - Garra taeniata - False SAE or Siamese stone lapping loach..... Allways loved them to bits - you just almost never see them.... unlike the true SAE,it has a thicker body and the black body line does not go through the eye - also quite a diferance in the structure of the mouth and barbels from true SAE....

OK :) University in 2013 so maybe ;) L33T is techie jargon for LEET, which comes from "elite" :p

There's not much pics of it on google and those which are there are bad - how can I get mine there? I will put it on wikipedia.
