3 week update

Developed a bit of GSA and cloudy water this last couple of days. CO2 ran out last week Wednesday, and I suspect it's the imbalance of this and ferts with the non-regular plant mass that caused these issues. But nevertheless, I did a major water change yesterday and hit the reset button on the dosing, and the tank is looking clear again. Co2 refilled and reconnected.

Pics is from when the abovementioned problems were there still. Will post new once again in a week's time or so.

Glad to see some growth and colouration bouncing back.

Update:

- Replaced filter with Dophin C1600
- Removed reactor and added diffuser (flow rate just too weak, which was the root cause of my cloudy water). Going to replace the temp diffuser with another Twinstar; just need to actually get in my car and go collect it.

A trim will be needed in a few days' time.

Livestock is 25 x Glowlights, 5 x Ember tetras and 1 x Betta Splendens (male). Lots of shrimps too

 

I'm hunting for new plants for a portion of my scape.. Do you mind telling me the name of the green plant in the centre (not the S Repens to avoid possible confusion) and the red/ yellowish green plant with thinner leaves to it's left?
