MTS (Multiple Tank Syndrome) DoubleDutch

After a waterchange they are vibrant green / orange. Looks they're dyed then hahaha.
Will have a try to breed them. Females are full of eggs.
First moving them to the meter-tank!

 

I'll fill it with water from the other tanks and seed the filter with filtermedia from the other filters. Last pic is from the film "Shrimp in the mist" hahaha

Yep that's a Aspidoras-species (nephew of Corydoras). Smaller, quite active, aso.

I only wish we had more people willing to spend a few bucks on some unusual species, and being interested in them to get them to South Africa. Unfortunatelly it's usually like the One Direction consert when it gets here. Ask my daughter she will tell you:love:

I wasn't clear Pierré. This (coolwater)tank is meand for my herds of Venezuelanus and Paleatus. I hope to get some Aspidoras for the space those will leave in the smaller tanks. Think I might to het them from Germany.
Strange not more fish is imported overthere.

 

You get the rarer once at different intervals. To give you an example. I'm looking for some Adolfois at the moment. If the lfs orders them their resell price will be in the region of R220 to R250 each (about €14 to €16) if you take the bag they are cheaper but I don't want 50 at once, and the lfs don't want to risk getting the fishes and only sell 10 to me and the rest will be hard to sell due to their price.

Also they sell huge amounts of Peppered, Bronz and Albino's and nobody else even asks about other spesies. Sad but true.

Thanks !!! Can't wait to release some fish in it hahaha. Used old water and emptied my other filter in this one. But I wanna be carefull and sure !!!! Friend gave me another kind of Sword (brown/redish one).

And NO : brown / redish doesn't mean dead hahahaha
