I envy the people that live there. the only thing I would miss is walking into the local pet shops whenever I want

We envy people living in SA hahaha.

 

I can understand envying the beauty of SA, this is a beautiful country, but the crime rate is just escalating to violent heights! When its on your doorstep you just feel so vulnerable

 

Yeah I understand. A shame !!!
A Dutch fellow countryman that travelled the world thought SA the most beautifull country he had seen. But indeed that won't be the places you're reffering to.

 

Everybody makes their own conclusions regarding crime in SA. We are very quick to mention how 'bad' it is but never mention how it affects them personally. I will never leave this country no matter what happens. We like to complain with white bread under the arm, very bad translation of a Afrikaans saying but I belive you get the point

I do get the point. Don't wanna live in Amsterdam myself, but others love it !!!
Think SA has a lot if beautifull places and other less ones.
Just as in Holland !!!

 

This is how it affects me personally: neihbour gets shot 5x n hijacked in front me, and they find a mutilated body 5mins away from my house and 200m left of my lfs, and a man's body is found with gun shots to the head in the very next suburb, guess what , it scares the hell out of me oh and all this in the last week,

The snail is an assassin-snail. I believe both are prohibited in SA to my believe.

Started with one assassin (which appeared to be fertilized) and sold 45 today to my LFS hahaha.
