Ignoring the little issue with the parasite / fungus, lucky 13 has bounced back well. I have added a few guppies to get the head-count up and help with some scavenging. Decided to reduce the amount of frozen food given to the badis badis ... was considering CO2 but that will just spoil this tank. Do need to get something to help with the sludge build-up, thinking of getting some probio if I can source it.

Thanks Angie, yeah it is the one I look at the most and appreciated the low maintenance it used to have. Now that fish stock needs more attention I tend to want to try more things in the tank (bad thing). Something about the shelf and water dripping does make this one of my favorites. I am contemplating adding some fissidens now that the java ferns and moss has done a good recovery.

I am hopping the guppies will liven it up abit, the badis's are cool but they hide 90% of the time.

    Time will tel.

I am actually for the first time dreading the cold dry snaps we will have in a few months, this is when I need to cover all my tanks to reduce evaporation and the room's humidity. Lucky 13 is so bushy I might need to think about building a tent of sorts - almost like a hot house with the tank as the base.

But that is not on today's must do.

Started stocking lucky13 again, got 30 odd fish from Loolilocks last week.

    10 x galaxy rasbora
    10 x forktail rainbow
10 x something small .. head light or white eye ... can not remember
    3x otocinclus

This over and above the 4 rummies, x+1 guppies, and the rest that survived.

Very nice Ferdie. I see your male guppies have ragged tails. Are all your males like that or only in this tank? My males have all got ragged tails and I don't know if it's breeding or water problems?

Thanks all, still pondering how to cover this tank up for winter now that the plants are way bigger on the shelf.

@Hawk .. think it is the badis-badis doing some fin nipping .. so just in this tank.

Thanks. Maybe it's my Angels but I don't think so. They just seem to have ragged edges. Doesn't look like fin rot or anything so not sure?

Really awesome tank Ferdie. Your fish will really be happy under all those shrubs in there. I am also after some Forktails. Now I know where to get some. Thanks for the tip

Some night shooting - fish seem way easier to catch in a pic at night.

I was contemplating adding CO2 - but this tank is such a low maintenance tank I even neglect to clean the glass on the sun side.

I added CO2 a while back - probably 6 weeks maybe more .. and the Anubias on the right became weeds. I had some spider wood lying around so decided to do 1/2 a rescape.
