Looking to vacuum tank water but for water to be pumped back into tank.

    Took sample to pet shop but they do not do water testing. I am changing 60 liters every day.

    I have been changing 10% water every second day and cleaning filter on alternative days.
    Got a pet shop to test a water sample. They used a different make of kit and the result was just one color tone below the normal. I then again tested with my kit and it still is way off the chart. I think I can now assume that my kit is faulty even though I only bought it a year ago.

    That's awesome news bud really chuffed that your nitrates are fine. You don't really need a test kit if you do your needed weekly water changes and also dont overfeed

    So my test kit, costing R185, must have expired and I only bought it about a year ago.
