it was some of the CAPM - Concentrated Aquatic Planting Media... really good stuff! prevents your substrate from going anaerobic

    Update as of last night
    [IMG]

Have trimmed two of the plants last week, and they need more trimming already. Me likes.

You'll see the plants on the left are growing towards the glass... that's where the sunlight comes in. Should have my new lights soon (hoping to get them this weekend)

Also going to try the DIY co2 method as I've run out of flourish excel.

See Gourami's bubble nest top left hand corner. Yis but he is one naughty gourami. Thinks he can uproot plants and use them for his nest. pssssh.

    Update:

Recently bought new lights for the tank and have gone the DIY Co2 route.
I accidentally bought Seachem Flourish when I was meant to buy Flourish Excel... nana are I. Anyway, the Co2 seems to be working nicely. Decided to start off with one bottle then move on to two... just in case things go wrong.

Found a few new plants at the LFS as well. My advice to you... go to the LFS on a Thursday or Friday. The good stock should still be there (before it gets sold out on Saturday)

Apologies for it seeming skew :push: I took it at an angle.

Plants seem to be growing well and the fish seem to love their new habitat. Introduced an internal filter to the tank, as the hob filter dies every now 'n then, and it produces a nice flow which the fish love. They're constantly playing where the current is.

Probably going to do a small change once the middle plants have grown out a bit. Want to put them behind the wood, but don't want to block the light out.

    Ooooh, it's pouring outside :smile1:
