    flying spotted catfish - is what was written on the price tag on tank R500 at northlands - black with white spots and short white fins just behind gill cover! looked like a snowball pleco but with more spots
    also albino gibiceps R230

    On even a big SA salary my wife would have banned me from spending 500 Rand on a fish... Never mind the regular 300 pound trips I have to the shrimp store

    You guys should go give Pet `n Pond on Lynwood a visit they got in some nice fish and plants and they stock a nice Malawi section now. They also have nice full grown panda Corries as well as a bunch of other species including Horse Face Loaches, Solefish and Chocolate Gourami.

    Or swing by Wild About Pets in Edenvale. Various L plecos, even Zebra plecos.

    Then some interesting Rineloricaria. Got myself this pair of them.

    I broke my own rules and did not quarantine, as I have been observing these guys there for a few weeks. They feed well, about 7 left there. R 150 each.
