    @Bandit,

    I love Fire Eels, but there is something about my setup that they don't like. Abd they never do well for me.

    R850 for a fire eel? That's a bit rough. Last I saw one was a year or so ago and it was about R200

    That aquarium shop in PE is rediculously over priced almost to the point of being a ripoff. I'm suprised they've lasted so long in the market... PE really needs some decent aquarium shops to open to avoid this kind of thing!

    Seen them go cheap and really expensive, all depends on if the shop owner think they are "rare" or special.

    I think Fire Eels are quite tricky to keep alive long term

    But I have seen some huge ones on You Tube. The same size as my lungfish. (Nearly 3 ft now)

    LFS in Benoni,

    Selling some beautiful fish:
    Archerfish, Bichir, Rainbow Boesmani & many more. Liked the white Convicts they had. Bought a small one for R10 and then took a few plants.
