Just in case anyone now needs clarification, the fish I saw in AK last Thursday included the genuine Ropefish / Reedfish as well as bichirs.

 

Saw these at wazeers behind Boksburg flea market.





Some type of Whiptails



And Sturisoma

 

Also spotted at Wazeer's today: at least 2x Royal panaque



1x Green phantom



And several more fancy striped and spotted plecs (saw what looked like a scribbled, orinoco angel plec and candy-striped / possible leopard frog) but no guarantees on what they really are!

 

Green phantoms are awesome! It's a struggle to find nice LCats in Durbs.

 

@PsyXe - where is Wazeer's? Haven't heard about them before. Our options in Pretoria is so limited would be nice to add another store to my list.

Alas...saw in an older post it's in Boksburg. :cry: Oh well, at least I was excited for a minute or two!

 

Off North Rand Road, behind Boksburg Flea Market. Shop is a bit of a 'deurmekaar', but has loads of stuff.

 

Hi guys looking for some decent places to get driftwood on the eastrand

 

Pet Masters currently has loads of spider wood. Wazeers has a huge heap of mopani. Benoni aquariums has a few pieces of spider wood. Loolilocks and Exotic has nothing worth mentioning.

 

That emerald plec is a beaut. Somebody grab it!
