    No where to keep them :(
    Rays would probably eat smaller ones.
    And I would also worry that they might latch onto the Rays

    It's actually the dried out internal structure of a cactus.
    I would imagine it's quite soft when soaked in water long term.

    Mopani is very good for tanks. It's hard, so less likely to disintegrate. And the Plecs don't chew on it as much as softer wood, so it will last longer from that perspective.
