Yes females only as well.Went there yesterday,walked past the Neons @ R5.00 each,felt a HUGE pain in my arm (and wallet) and left with 20 neons.
pmpl, nice. I'd also want more neons, they're schooling nicely but the tank is so big and they're so small, and my wallet has annorexia and....... Only females? damn, did you ask whether the males are just sold out or don't they stock males?

I bought a 'pair' a few weeks ago but think I got handed two females. The one has a bright purple belly and the other hasnt. They bright one defends her territory and constantly harrases the other. Was thinking that maybe the brighter one is the dominant one hence the colour. How do I get a definate male?
Males have a pointed dorsal fin and females have a "round' dorsal fin. I've been told by idiots that the female/male is brighter/duller,female have a spot on the dorsal fin etc. Do a google search for pics on male kribs as well as female kribs and you will notice a marked difference in their dorsal fins. It may happen that the male is not interested in the female.It happened a time or two with me.Just gave me an excuse to buy some more. I got an alibino male on wednesday.Hope my albino's pair off.
