@f-fish , i did shut down 2 tubes, so 2 tubes was still running, the staghorn kind of disappeared , but i just noticed my HM and colorata got a nock of too less light , so switched it on. Now i remembered someone mentioned the SAE , isnt the Flying Fox also suppose to get rid of this? And if not will the Fox get along if i can find a SAE , cause i had 2 flying foxes , but this one was torturing the other so i had to move the 1 to another tank . The staghorn i can hardly find , but it wasnt that bad but i did notice . Any info ?

I would stay clear of a Flying Fox or that false SAE .... they all tend to be bullies and get lazy quickly as they age.

Treat affected areas with hydrogen peroxide (h2o2), 1.5ml in 4 liters of water. Spray onto affected stuff, leave for 5 min and put into holding tank or your tank, repeat for a few days.

Hi , so just a update , I did forget about DSD NK-P . It was said any sign of algea I should switch from NPK to NK-P . So I dosed 1ml NK-P on Wednesday and Fryday . Seems to have made about an 80% disappearance of staghorn . And also upped the co2 a few weeks ago but didn't have an effect at all, only much more growth

Okey , so finaly , 100% staghorn free , im not sure whats the difference between NPK and NK-P , but dosing NK-P instead of NKP worked great for me :top:
