@Rico - That sounds like a plan and I will give it a go. Hopefully I will finish my Frankenstein tree this weekend if I get time

Quick update on the Nano tank:

I could not wait to get the tree done before buy some fish.
    These are the new inhabitants
    2 Panda Corys
    4 Naked Rasboras

I then noticed the current is too strong so I added in a plant
from another tank to calm things down a bit. I could not wait
    until the tree is ready.

I popped in to Pet Stop on Friday and could
not help myself. I got some more fishies for
    the nano

    4 Exclamation rasboras
    4 Haliquin rasboras
    4 Rainbow treadfins

2 Exclamations did not make it home but the
other 2 are going strong. I will get some more
because they are awesome little fish

If the tank seems over stocked I will move some
    to another tank.

Current was still too strong so I added some
    floating plants. Much better now.

I started dosing Microbe-lift for the plants

Another thing - The LED that came with the tank is really bad quality. More that half the LEDs are dead so I replaced it with another unit

I bought a cheapy LED unit but it does the job. Planning to replace it with a nice desk lamp with a CFL
