Thanks @JJFury I would like the tank to grow in some more, before I enter. Hoping it will look a bit more bushy....

And thanks to all the other compliments, much appreciated.

Some new pics on my 3 foot, grown in nicely, and proud to say its algae free, could it be the awesome twin star?

WOW... Looks so awesome! And only 3 months old? Wow! I suppose it's hard to hide a heater in a 3ft tank... Maybe a little to the left or right will clear the arch the one's eye is drawn to? Just a layman's opinion:)

Thanks guys....I really do enjoy spending time with this tank, it just seems to be getting better. @Broder I actually just bought a new heater, as the current one was battling keeping up in jhb winter, will replace and move to right out of sight.

Also thinking of adding another tube, as I'm only running 3 x 39w t5s, just scared it will add algae, perhaps I'll just give it a trial run.

Do you have reflectors above your lamps? Makes a huge difference if you don't. I just stick mirror PVC into the canopy, and it blings!

@Broder yes it is an odysea unit, standard with good reflectors.

Thanks @Sash suppose the most frustrating part, was getting the right wood for the scape. The growing in part was rather easy, allot of slow growers, but easy maintenence, unlike an HC carpet, or a total Hair grass carpet.

A couple of areas that im not to happy, on the right piece of wood, I have no moss on the complete right hand side, so there is a patch there that I need to fill. Then the left piece have creeping moss, and the right piece spiky moss, I might change both sides to creeping.

Then infront left, the styrogene repens is growing in slowly, as the moss is blocking some light, might just give it a good trim, if that grows in, and the moss part on the right, I should be entirely happy.

Oh and when there is ottos again, so if anyone find some ottos, give me a shout.

    Cheers
