Wallichi is one of my favourite plants. In my 100l non co2 tank they have gone a lovely rust/red colour. Looks awesome.

    Some more updates

So my glosso is carpeting nicely, I might have proplems as it will start hitting the hc soon. My hc is also due for its first trim, this I will do this weekend.

But still happy with the progress and growth rate.

Those are red and yellow plastic colour blossoms, they give a natural look to a planted tank. Hth @DerikPelser

Hennie, I'm going to throw a spanner in the works here for you...

Now, when creating a scape like this, you want to create the illusion of scale, and distance...

Swop your HC and your glosso around. Put the glosso in front, and have the HC on top. It will create the illusion that the mountain is even further away than what it really is. So your big plant is on the bottom and the smaller one is on the top.

I think it will help the scape.

@Sean J I was looking @ the tank again after your comment....I never knew that glosso can be such a awesome looking carpet plant, as it is my first experience with it. It seems to have a better effect then the hc imo. The problem is my space in front of the tank is limmited, and not much space for the glosso to grow. My question is, I dont really want to remove the glosso, should I not remove the HC infront, and carpet the entire tank with glosso?

You can, but you will lose the effect of distance.

Change it now before it's all grown in and a mission to change!!! LOL!

Although, playing around with a mixed carpet might be an interesting idea. So add glosso and HC together on the lower part and only HC on the top section. Might be interesting.
