    As @pierreschoonraad stated, Sodium Thiosulphate only neutralises chlorine.
    Our municipal water contains chloramine as well, together with various buffering agents and other chemicals.

    For the health of my fish, I prefer to get the best products that I can afford.
    Seachem is one of the better products available on the market.

    I would not skimp on a dechlorinator. Remember that ferts can be DIY'ed using EI
