Good and bad news today. Bad news first we are moving from the 1st of Jan to a new place, if everything goes to plan. The good news, actually best news: I will have a actual propper fish room and I don't need to clear out any of the 12 tanks. Yes I added 1 1ft to the colection as I'm sure the grow out female tank had a serious problem. The bitches were chowing my Blue Carbon Rilli's.

11 days after the first F2's the second female dropped here fry this morning. Good way to start the new year. [IMG]
Now we only hope to find a new place to stay that is pet friendly. Place we were suppose to move to will not allow our cat. If she is not welcome we will not go there. Even if it means losing out on a fish room.

I defnitly didn't have my glasses on with the previous post. Or I was just too eager for another drop. The femal only started dropping fry this afternoon. Lucky for me I was at home and I could catch some of this amazing action in photo's. A first for me so excuse the next 10 photo's. I was quite surprized at the amount of unfertalized eggs though.

If you look closely at the last picture the fry is at the bottom of the airtube, a bit down and to the left, of the second last picture.

Congrats you are also packed with Fry like me... i added 5 tanks on Saturday as i ran out of space.

During the 2 drops I saw there was about 5 eggs. Don't mind the eggs. Only means I have less fry for me to find space for.
Picking up 4 more tanks today. First drop males starting to show so I'm keeping them in a breeder net at the moment.

    Now the breeding can start.

Got my 4 1ft tanks today from a great sponsor. I have to thank @Moolis from @PetStop for sponsoring the tanks for this line I'm going into, without this help I know I couldn't do it by myself. Thanks for putting your faith in me and my abillity of being able to pull this off. I will have a proper breeding rack going by the 20th of February with 8 x 1.5ft joining in. Luckely for me we can move to the 3 bedroom, actually 2 bedrooms and a fish room.

Moved the first 5 males from the drop of 21 December 2016 over to their new home.[IMG]

If anybody is interested in any of the reject Endlers, for now, or the planned Endler. They will be for sale exclusively at Pet Stop Rietfontein.

Thanks WeirdStream. I don't know how I thought I could pull this off with the tank space I had when this all started. I take my hat of to any person going into breeding to generate a income. I don't think you can ever break even after your initial set-up cost.
The stand I'm going to use is a 3 tier wood shelf, 1m wide and 600mm deep, which I was able to strengthen to be sure it can handle the weight. Nothing pretty but it cost me nothing and will do the job.

This is what the stand looks like at the moment. Still needs a lot of tlc and paint.[IMG]

Jup, i can believe that, i am too afraid to tell my wife what mine cost so far.

Unless you breed thousands of fish at a time, making money in the breeding game is very difficult, I don't breed full scale anymore, only for fun, and I am trying to Improve my current strains that i have, my reject fry pays for my fish-food... (I have a swap arrangement with a LPS here) i supply them decent guppies and they give me fish food.

I currently Run 4x 100L Tubs, 5x Fry Tanks,2 x 2ft Breeding Tanks and my custom Drop tank.(And thats only the guppies)

Know the feeling. How will anybody, not in the aquarium hobby, ever understand how you can spend R5000 on a light for a fish tank?
