Where did you get your information? ALL angels are omnivores.

 

How do you guys feel about freeze-dried tubifex? apparently it has a high possibility of pathogens. Should I stop feeding it (not the staple, I promise)

 

I use freeze-dried tubifex, bloodworm, brineshrimp and shrimp and have never had problems. Just ensure that you are making use of a reputable brand name food and not the el-cheapo brands who are more likely to cut corners.

Erm thanks for the explanation Zoom, but I really didn't need it spelt out. I merely chose to not degrade someone publicly but to rather try and ascertain where the false information was obtained from and to point out the misconception so that other angelfish keepers would give their angels a varied and suitable diet. :blink1:

 

Owkay... just didn't want anyone going to any LPS and asking for my angels that's all.
