What you want for the 1x 4ft Stand?

 

R200 :smile1: note its not a standard shop stand, it was made. needs paint.

 

when can I collect - ... probably want to have a good look at the stand welds etc ... (since now is not an option - tomorrow ?)

R200 is about right for the cost of the tube .. assuming it is 25mm

 

around there ex welding rods and getting it level, which is harder than it looks lol...

Good thing you needed some family time, made me go and take a closer look at the stand pic and the tank it needs to take.

If I read your pic correctly then your legs are welded inside the frame that the tank base would sit on not under the base that the tank would sit on ... now normally that would not be a big deal .. but the tank that needs to fit on this stand is a rescue tank --- and for its sin the base was drilled weird - now that also is not a train smash - but it means the stands legs will be in the way of the fix.



So if all the above is correct - I will not be able to use the stand, meaning I need to take my lazy a and go and make my own stand.

Yeah tel me about steel being hard to level - the few stands I have made I am always amazed that you start with straight tubes , add a few welds and then find once every thing is done something creeped due to heat.
