Thanks Guys, lots 30 minutes this morning - yes it still happens ;-) I was just staring at the tank and how the fish enjoyed the new scene.

Going to have to leave it like that for a while still I suspect a good few weeks before that log will stay down without the rocks.

The added driftwood adds very much to the tank. IMHO it completes the tank better than the bushy jungle look. Keep up the good work!!!

Yeah - the wood should be well soaked buy now so one of these days I hope to play in that tank again.

Jungle is back ... more light might be needed.

Thanks ... yeah I am pleased with the work in progress, think this the most planted this tanks has been in a while.

Hard to get a real sense of the amount of stuff in here on a FTS

BTW this turned out to be a natural red / blue guppy breeding tank. Did not plan it but it sure looks like the dominating genes.

Lighting on this is 2 x 5630 water proof LED string and now I added 1m of 5630 red's ..

Might added a bit more if needed, but in now real rush for stuff to grow too much.

Will be nice if the buch lifts its head, they come form the 36 degrees and was attached very close to the surface so lets see.

Ever wonder what fish do over a time period? Time lapse every 30 seconds.

F-Fish, is a guru when it comes to those little Raspberry Pi/ Arduino stuff. Might have programmed one to take those epic captures? not 100% sure, but that is my assumption.

One day I will learn how to do that :)

Lol - you guys ... now I should / could probably have done this with the Pi, but was actually just messing around with my old pentax wg-III - it has a very very cool time lapse feature that does not keep the camera on all the time.

So you can do real time lapses with it, the camera wakes up takes the photo then goes to sleep, was really surprised it worked this well.

Once you have the images just drop them on youtube and make a video from the images - real easy nothing but some bandwidth and time required.

Quick update on the tank .. no fertz for the last few weeks and no CO2 - yet I see new growth so pleased with that, wonder if that is because of the extra red LED strip?
