I agree with what has been said above.
Would also like to add that Malwis (Mbuna) prefer a vegetarian diet.
Frontosa prefer something a bit higher protein/meatier.

I do weekly maximum 25% water changes. I let it stand in a bucket before transferring to tank as chlorine can be lethal to fish. I dont use any water chemicals or conditioner if my water changes was a bigger percentage I would have to. Also I use aragonite substrate which buffers water and maintains a stable ph.

Okay cool I checked it out. I see one has different media. I have internal filter and a canister. What I like about the canister is the spray bar that breaks the surface water.

I kept frontosa with malawis nut was very selective of what I added to tank...although I must say the fronts do better on their own which was how I eventually kept them after finding a female mikula swimming around with my wc male aulonocara benga in her mouth

Agree with all the above. Just whant to add. Frontosa are known for their beautifull trailors. And malawi are known for their beautifull appetite. So be care full what fish you choose as friends for fronts. Calvus are the best the friends for fronts although I know of turtles and stingrays who are kept successfully with fronts. would like to try that someday....
