I have my own section in the freezer - full of smelt, bloodworms etc.
Earthworms won't get mixed up with the other food

So I froze a few worms over the weekend
Thawed them last night. They didn't disintegrate, but they weren't as firm as a live worm
Fire Eel didn't seem to notice though - he was quite happy to eat them

Frozen steaks and fresh steaks also doesn't taste and feel the same, but I'll still eat both.

I have a freezer just for my fish and snake food. We have an extra fridge in the garage so mum just got herself a box freezer for the normal food

I will.. if the brats eat them it will be very convenient, not only can you store them in case of shortage in availability but also you can clean a few days supply and freeze ready to use
