    I agree with you, get rid of deadwood should be Wengers first priority. My list is just longer than yours. . .
    Djourou, Squillaci, Diaby, Chamakh, Bendtner, Vela and yeh, maybe even Santos.
    Ideally Id like us to sign another two midfielders, M'Villa has been rumoured, and Id live Hazard to join us, but I think we'll be priced out of that signing. Rosicky has neen brilliant this season, and I have always been a great fan of his, but he is at the end of the road I fear, I dont see him doing what he has done for another 60 games.
    Id also like us to replace Djourou, Jan Vertonghen is apparently on the list, and with Vermaelen there I could actually see that happening. I dont rate Mertesacker much really. He is slow and though a great tackler, he doesnt jump well and seems a liability. I prefer Koscielny tbh.
    Ryo Myachi should join us next season back from his loan spell at Bolton, and if we sign one good centre forward (mario goetze?) I think we ok.

    I can see Walcott playing more central next season, with Arsene reverting to 4-4-2, maybe Im wrong?

    @Marco,

    Chamakh - forgot about him. He started well for us, but has been useless since
    Diaby - to be fair to him, he has been injured.
    Bendtner - When he left on loan, he badmouthed the club. I doubt he will play for Arsenal again.
    Vela - I have seen him once come on as a sub in a CL game, and he scored. Could be ok with regular match practice.

    I will add another one:
    Park - total waste of time.

    Mertsacker could also be on the list. He is slow and gets caught often.

    Also, pity Frimpong got injured when he was Wolves. He could be good after he has some match experience.

    Re some of your suggestions for new signings. There are always lots of rumours. We will have to see.

    Walcott - Not sure if he will play in a central position. He hasn't lived up to his potential imho. He has flashes, but often disappointing.

    @Marco,

    And we have both forgotten Arshaven.........who should be on top of the For Sale pile.

    YES! But we'd probably have to pay someone to take him!

    Cissé. . . What an absolutely amazing strike to score the second goal last night. The first one was good, but his second!!! Out of this world! Take my hat of to him, and Pardew for the way he has managed Newcastle this season. He has little money at his disposal but has bought very well! Id actually prefer them ending in fourth spot than the low-life Spuds

    @Marco,

    They showed the Spurs match here, which I had zero interest watching.
    Have heard the Cisse goals were very good.

    Found it on You Tube - cracking goals.

    I find it even more amazing that people take the time to post it on there!

    @Marco,

    Well I will be at the Norwich match tomorrow. Hope we give them a big klap!
    I will be sitting on the 2nd level above the away fans.

    You will probably see my son going wild with joy when we score!

    Banners aren't allowed in the ground.

    @Marco. Absolutely.

    Arsenal were absolutely rubbish.
    YB ran his heart out. But as for the rest of them........Played with 0 commitment until about 15 mins from the end. And the defense was dire. They treated the most important match of the season like they would a friendly.
    They got booed off at half time. And there was an announcement that the team would do a lap of honour at the end of the game.....we didn't stay for that.

    A small consolation is that Newcastle lost. And Spurs managed a draw against a team fighting for survival.

    All down to next weekend........

    @Reedfish

    Lets hope we beat West Brom who should thereotically have nothing to play for. Newcastle is out of the running, its just Spurs, but if we beat West Brom its actually been a better season than last year, even though it doesnt feel like that.

    If we secure third, Im rooting for Chelsea to win CL! Haha, what a nice "finger" that would be for the Spurs, thinking they made it only to get let down. Another hope I have is that QPR can hold Man City. Bugger I dont want them to win the league.

    @Marco,

    Newcastle aren't out of the running!
    If they win, Spurs win and we lose, they will both finish ahead of us. We will come 5th!

    Am just hoping that WB will be in a bit of turmoil as they have lost their manager.

    Marco, I'm a MASSIVE West Brom fan, have been for years and losing our manager is something to play for...a big send-off for Roy Hodgson! Also victory would cement a top 10 finish.

    @Reedfish

    Nice pics! So jealous! Pity was such a crap score.

    @Derek

    Normally I have the utmost respect for people who support the less popular teams. I have a friend who is a die hard Villa supporter, and another who supports Everton. This weekend however. . . Im not wishing you any luck! We unfortunately need to beat you guys!

    Btw, I have a very soft spot for Nottingham Forest. . . I sooooo wish they can head back to the Premier League!

    @Marco - No Way! I used to follow Forest in the '80's, when they were one of the biggest teams in the First Division as it was known then!

    @Derek - I agree with Marco. It is great to see that people don't only support Man U. But this weekend......
