    And who would have thought that Chelsea with 10 men would have gotten past Barcelona! :wondering:

    What worries me with Chelsea, is that if they win the CL, but finish outside the top 4, they will get that last spot.
    Arsenal not very convincing at the moment.

    Terry - what a moron!

    Hi @Reedfish

    With you on that bud, we have to start scoring goals again. These last three are must win games for us! Still think Newcastle will slip up, they have very tough road ahead of them. Cant see them beating Chelsea and Man City

    Keith, Liverpool might win the FA, though I doubt it, but does that constitute a successful season for them? I think not. They slipping further and further away from the pack, and at this rate will become an bottom ten club in coming seasons. Think Kenny has lost the plot

    I think the GAP between 1st and 2nd places are so big no one will be able to catch up. It shows that the rest of the teams were struggling during this season never was the GAp so big.

    Liverpool is slipping total out of Champions League and EUFA League. When it comes to FA I will take my hat off for Liverpool they are extremely good when playing in this cup.

    Yup,
    Our last 3 games are easier than Newcastle's.

    BM into the final against Chelsea. So it's a home game for them. Should count for a lot. Sorry, but I don't want Chelsea to win :amazed:
    So at least we would get into the CL next year in 4th spot - worst case scenario.

    @Marco,

    Well the football results were so-so this weekend.

    A draw at Stoke. I would have taken that. And at least Newcastle got hammered.

    Hi @Reedfish

    Agree with you, draw at stoke was a good result. If we win last two we end 3rd no matter what anybody else does, so destiny is finally in our own hands.
    Newcastle have Chelsea next, and Chelsea is not a team I'd want to face at the moment, I can actually see Newcastle getting hammered again, and then slipping to six. So much for arrogant Pardew, I cant stand him! He's almost as bad as Allardyce and Hughes.

    @Marco,

    Yup, if we win the last 2 matches, we should be safe in 3rd.

    I am taking my son to Emirates on Sat. Hopefully this will be a good omen - I have never been to a match and seen us lose. In fact, I have only seen 1 draw, and that was against Barcelona in the CL 2 seasons ago. The rest have been wins!

    Must say, that I am hoping United win.
    Am p**sed off that City poached so many of our players by weaving ££ notes.

    @Reedfish

    Im jealous. . . I hope its a great game with the right result on the weekend.
    Tonite, I support Manure, as smelly as it is. I wish no good fortune on Man City. May they have an empty Trophy cabinet. Barca and them are forever shopping at the Emirates, and for the players leaving for seemingly "greener pastures", well, Cesc will have to wait a bit longer for a league title, and I hope Nasri has to also.

    What you think of us announcing the signing of Podolski?

    @Marco,

    I agree with your sentiments.

    Podolski - lets just say I haven't heard good things about him.

    I'm not!
    Arsenal need Newcastle to lose. Not additional pressure on 3rd spot!

    @Reedfish

    We must just win our games, then other teams can win/lose/draw, we get third spot. Newcastle should lose to Chelsea, and if they can manage a draw against City, then hopefully its a great seadon afterall, with Man city winning nothing.

    You say no good things heard about Podolski? Mmmm, scares me. He has been brilliant for Cologne and Germany.

    What do you hope for with us in the transfer market this off-season?

    @Marco,
    If we were on a winning run, then fine. But the Gunners have been a bit fragile this season. May have to rely on favours from other teams. :suspicious:

    Padolski - My Mrs has a cousin who works in the football industry. He says Padolski is very good.
    But some things I have seen in the Press are less than flattering. I guess time will tell.

    This season's transfer market. Get rid of the "dead wood". Djouru has to go, as does Squillatchi. Maybe even Santos - he hasn't been very good. We need some quality reserve defenders. And then some good players up front. Hopefully Wilshire will come back, and with Arteta that should be ok. If Ox continues to improve, that will also improve our prospects for next season. YB is on loan, so will have to see what happens there. And then there is the RVP issue.
    What do you think?
