    @tanked72, thanks
    @top dog, Yes, I see on other forums and websites that a lot of the guys also use frogs.
    Just worries us a bit how it affects the bio load and as they get bigger, Cesar's ones eat pieces of fish and shrimp as well so I havent gone the frog route at this stage.
    They also use pinkies but thats heavy bio load too.. so will see how it goes

    Yes, she came in via Wazeers as well but I have kept in touch with Snoopy's breeder (Cesar's RTG) and I had asked them to let me know when they had one available which they did, then Wazeer's handled the transport and paperwork etc for me.

    Thanks, I will
    I have to say I am amazed at her temperament
    Usually Aros are very sqittish until they settle and even then it takes some time for them to accept you
    This one, ate the day it landed.. very unusual ... by the second day it came closer to my hand and by the third day its coming to take the food from my hand
    For an Arowana... this is not very common

    ROFL "little did the author know that she was dealing with smugglers, terrorists and criminals, purely due to a translation/language problem, they thought she was looking for 'marijuana' not 'arowana'.. rookie error!!"

    Thanks @Jwh..
    No, I have normal daylight globes

    I have one blue globe which I switch on when I get up in the morning and its still dark, to wake up the kids without startling them awake.
    After a while then I switch on the rest of the lights
