    PS there are some anubias species that grow huge and could be a very structural addition to a tank like the one you’re planning. Also sturdy for big fish.

    I like this plan, its the best. I need to go back and see how many tanks you're planing to have in the end ;)

    True although at least make one tank random?

    I've kept a catfish smiller to that. Really cool fish. Mine didn't grow big around 8cm but didn't make friends with my plecos so I had to sell it.

    The driftwood that I'm planning on using for this setup is quite big, its two pieces of tree stumps that will be placed vertically, its about 25cm in diameter and 40cm in length so larger anubias plants would work out great !!! I was looking at some Eleocharis as well but don't know the availability of it.

    In the end I will probably end up with 7 tanks. I have done some rearrangements to the original layout.

    The idea is at the back of my mind after seeing your add for the stand.

    I am running out of space as well so I need to keep in mind what I want to achieve in the end. Your 2.4m stand would have worked actually but I might end up cramming the room.

    7 tanks is still decent. That's a lot for sure.

    Haha so let's modify it. Its perfect to cut down to 1.8 meters too and I know you wanted a 6 foot discus tank in there?

    Clearance issues this tank is a tiny but to big there is a wall there that it doesn't clear. So I bought a 2.2 meter that I'm struggling to move :lol:

    Man power to lift is short I've got two people :lol:

    Personally I think 150l is too small for polypterus or ropefish, especially a narrow tank.

    Thanks, did extensive research on the rope fish before ordering and I understand they can climb out of the tank.The 4ft is specifically for the rope fish, the 150l is an option to house the the smaller one that's available now until I get the stand built for the 4ft. The 150l tank dims. are around 80x45x45 but I understand the tank is to small.

    That wide footprint would be ideal for a bit. And it isn't can climb out, they will. If you aren't careful

    The tank looks stunning @TetraJacques

    That catfish, from the Pictus family, is not a very friendly strain.. I had to get rid of mine
    Tried several times but never worked

    As for the 6 band Disticodus... That isnt very friendly either
    I tried twice and as small as about 10cm he attacked everyone, constant nippers

    Cant remember off top of my head now how big they get but they get big!
    As they get older they also lose their bright orange colour a bit
