ps: I am venturing back to planted tank - I shut down my plant tank last time because of a major snail infestation - mainly because I did not dip my plants - now I am taking all the necessary precautions.

So are you going planted with the goldfish?

I'm thinking about adding in a couple of different kinds of plants - I want to attach Java fern windolov on a sheet of mesh for a java fern wall or carpet - maybe add in some spider wood with different moss... I'll see how it goes - trial and error.

That rock is so cool - I am obsessed - it had java moss attached and establish however 24 hours with the goldfish..... I looked this morning and it was floating all around the tank

 

Hence my question, are you going planted tank with the goldfish. They plant devourers...

I'm going semi planted - I find that as long as the plant is secured properly they won't mess it up. However, if it is not secure they will go check it out - they are very inquisitive.
