    Thanks @f-fish

    Thanks @SterlingAce :)

    @Reedfish Thanks. No plants below the water line, my fish wrecked them. Still got my odd mix of fish that really only come out around feeding times (early morning and late evening). 2 large cats, 2 large Yolo loaches, 1 medium zebra loach, 3 surviving Lake Kutubu Blue Rainbowfish, 1 CAE and 4 albino ancistrus. I'll be doing a rescape next month once it warms up a bit more.

    Thanks @MYCLOCK nothing new really, I am letting the system mature so I have not disturbed it all in 4 months which is why the plants have covered everything.

    The plants covering the surface of the water makes it quite dark under there for photos but here is one:

    That's very high praise :) Thank you. It's maturing beautifully. In a couple more months it's going to look even better.

    A little bit of spring cleaning :)

    I modified the sump by removing the 'refugium' divider making the section with the pump in much larger (which means I don't have to worry about the water level dropping low and burning the pump out while I'm away). Also decided to remove all the lava rock and replace it with more drift wood. Not sure if this is the final scape but I'm happy with the result for now.

    @GregM Thanks bud :)
    @hviviers75 Appreciate it :) Nah I'm looking at something more interesting to keep like a CA or SA cichlid.

    Thanks @Reedfish It's coming on.

    I'm not the biggest fan of having my photo taken but I thought I would do it to give you guys a sense of scale (I'm 5ft 10in or 177cm tall).

    Thanks @Viashen a couple months worth of hard work but it's a great experience if you have the inclination :)

    @Viashen Yeah patience is important for a project like this. Seeing a tank sit empty for months is not easy unless you have many I suppose. The result makes it all worth it though.

    I took the lazy man's route and bought one ;-)

    I battle to maintain 1 tank, think my noobness is shining through now

    It's the best tank that I have ever owned. It's so easy to maintain and it always looks good thanks to the terrestrial section being so vibrant. I also didn't compromise on water volume so I am able to keep the fish that I want. If I were to do it again though I would prefer a longer and wider tank (doesn't everyone though). I think a 2m x 1m x 1m tank would make an exceptional paludarium.
