    @BadgerBadger @RKali They are super cool :) Can't believe my luck! I mean the LFS I was at was selling small Cardinal tetras for R55.00 each!

    Are these dwarf rainbows? Never seen them before. Very nice looking! Almost looks like small Katu Rainbows.

    As far as I can tell @Michealvdb they are just standard Lake Kutubu Blue Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia Lacustris) aka Turquoise Rainbowfish, which are not dwarfs.

    Here is a pic of an adult from google:

    @Ortaega I have never even considered keeping Rainbows but so far I am completely sold on them... this species at least :)

    Thanks Bro. Kutubu is what I meant . I have got a variety of Rainbows at the moment....They must be some of the most beautifull fish when they all grown up, and so easy to keep.

    @RKali Thanks bud! I'm pretty chuffed too :) My wallet is also happy...
    @Ortaega Beautiful man! It is a gorgeous looking cat, what are you keeping with them? Love the substrate btw.

    Thanx :bigsmile:, proud to own them!
    Currently the tank is stocked as follows:
    6x Bronze corydoras {of which 2 out of the 6 is Albino}
    1x Bristlenose Pleco
    1x Whiptail Catfish
    2x Pictus Catfish
    7x Golden apple snails {5 still needs to be moved out}
    1x Kribensis

    The substrate I also got from my LFS after a while, some fine river sand. Cory`s seem to love it. Just need some plants for now then I'll be happy.

Just in a tank with some Rams and Cardinals . Have had all of them over a year now and their colours are starting to come along awesomely..... Would like to add some Madagaskar Rainbows, but havnt seen any aroud.

    @Ortaega Sounds like a nice little setup :)
    @michaelvdb Quite a range of species there. Planted tank?

    Here are some quick update pics of the terrestrial section. I have added 11 new plant species added but I still have to ID all of them.

    Shew well done I am very impressed - have followed your progress from the beginning - looks amazing but like Reedfish asks, what is happening in the water?
