DIY potting soil substrate for a planted tank

Isnt there some type of loaches that keep the snails in line.Just thinking of ways to assist you, cause that planted tank of urs is really one of a kind.You should try growing the hell out of 4 or 5 ft tank next you gt the green touch dash

Thank you. Soil I have found is a really good medium to grow plants if done correctly.

 

Looking good bru, looks like you hit it with a weed eater!! Growth was much bigger!

dude tank looking really good , btw how long do you keep you quad lights on for?

 

Around 8 hours could be more on some days.

 

cool, quick q ? did you buy just normal ferts u used no subtrate?

 

organic potting mix\
3. peat moss
4. vermiculite so u just mixed all of this and let it sit for a few days? and just put normal gravel over?

yup i have a 2foot out side but need to replace bottom glass cracked was thinking of it what do you think it would cost for a 2foot to set up?

This is one week after not trimming. Growth is fantastic.
