Picked these today. A water lily? Duckweed. And some other sort of duck weed?. Question is, how do I make these safe for my tank? Dip in 10% bleach?

Congratulations on your newest pet

they are really cool how to move so fast for snails, the only word of warning doesn't let them venture into the place you feed your shrimp, they will flip it over and chow it, lost loads of snails that way in my shrimp tank. they seem to leave them alone if they don't eat the shrimp's food.

So, I found out this is mosquito fern. A floating mini fern that forms a symbiotic relationship with cyanobacteria.

 

Update: some of the plants are settling in well, others melting pretty bad. Got some cabomba, Christmas moss and baby tears (was supposed to get blossom but grabbed the wrong bag). Also got 2 ramshorn snails and a couple shrimp.

I think the foreground plant I got is Micranthemum Umbrosum (larger variant of dwarf baby tears). I may struggle to get it to carpet
