There were about 30 that went free swimming, but the parents spawned again when these guys were 5 days old and then started eating their first spawn. So I removed the remaining 6, of which 1 died the same night and ive been rearing these 5 myself. Nothing else has come of the subsequent spawnings, but the parents are still very young so we will have to wait and see how they progress.

Lot of peolple try to achieve some discus babies and never get it right!

Hi Salim

At this stage its only live bbs. These guys are in a tub that is pegged in the sump of my main rig and they have bbs continuously throughout the day.

wow they have gotten big.. must come have a look sometime..

 

Yeah, pop in soon. You won't believe how they have rocketed in size in less than a week since you last saw them.

Triumph! Not everyone knows how long it's taken, but I do! WELL DONE gramps! It's great to see the lil guys, and I look forward to seeing them grow up!
