    Sorry Athol,the productI was thinking of is " Cricket Crunch" as a cheaper alternative to the "Gut load" one... Bout R20 for a small bottle...

    i accept with u. crickets are not always clean, it make you tank waste. earthworms better

    iv got a system going,i buy them on tuesday when the stock comes in feed them this gutload thing for 3 days to fatten them up then feed them on friday and do a waterchange on saturday,:p problem solved.guppies are probably cheaper but unfortunately the guppies cant breed as fast as i can buy the crickets.
