The NC only takes a minute, but I would rather do a 20 minute Water change! Although, in the beginning it's fine. Wait until you feed them solid food!! :aetsch:

 

But a NC is only the start of it, after that comes the BF (in the nice containers) and then the "BUUUUUURRRRRRP". One needs to have a nappy draped over ones shoulder for protection, remember babies detect it if you wear a fancy shirt and that is particularly prone to a "Ruth".

 

LOL! I have had many a "Ruth" on my shoulder. And even with a nappy draped over your shoulder, they still manage to get you where you are not protected... It's all for a good cause though. They are a joy.

 

Well spoken there dad, I think the youngsters here would not even know what a "Ruth" is.....

 

NC is easy. The first nappy I ever changed in my entire life was on Saturday.. and it was that "first dreaded black one". Was done and dusted in under 5 minutes... no hassles.WC on the other hand has been neglected for a week now. I forgot to fert my plants since Thursday. And I think I skipped 4 days of feeding the fish.The plants EXPLODED with growth (Maybe because I havent' actually LOOKED at the tank in over 5 days I notice th growth now). But the lack of nutrients with the addition of the CO2 has given me a nice case of algae. Hindsight... I shoulds turned half the lights off and killed the CO2.Oh well..... I am planning a rescape sometime. (Been planning it for over 6 months now.....)

 

When you start feeding them solids you get to the following question: What is the colour "Sharkey"?

 

Wait until you feed junior some fertilizer, and you will also find that he will explode, although the nappy change will then be a little more complicated....

 

Um... can I get some education here... what is a "Ruth"? (Besides a sloppy burp running down your back- my guess)

As far as I know, Ruth was going to be the name I was going to name my child if he was a she....

 

Ruth is the sloppy burp... Yummy stuff that. Hehehe.

Wait bud. It's all only just begun. The best piece of advice I could possibly give you, is this:

Just try to remain calm. When the wife is crying and screaming and the baby is doing the same thing, just stay calm. It will help to calm them both down if you stay calm. Even if you are only calm on the outside...

Just trust me on this. LOL!

Im sure i will find out what a ruth and sharkie is... even if i dont know them by that name...! What I can tell you... there is nothing Joel can do that will be too gross for dad and mom to handle. We love him too much!
