So here's fair warning! Mine's morphed from an aquascape to an algaescape! I bet none of the others will be able to top THAT!!! :trytofly:

But I'm still gonna see it through! You ARE all allowed to roll around laughing when you see it!

dont worry @tracyp, i think we should all just use our imagination to see how awesome the tanks could be once they mature. Nanos are alot harder than they look

And low tech nanos are even more difficult! I put a heck of a lot of thought into this competition. It's pointless having an easy competition and giving away such a cool prize. There needed to be a good challenge involved, and a low tech nano is one of the more difficult things to get right. Which is why any great results, are actually amazing results. To get plants to flourish properly without the use of Co2, is a very difficult task in such small tanks. And any deviances in parameters are huge in such small tanks. You have to be on top of your game!!!

And it is all this, which has made this competition so successful!

I already have an entry in... I hope to see a lot more in the next week!!!

    Happy trimming and snapping folks!!

LOL! Can I ask if you guys would rather submit .PDF files? It just makes it easier. There is one format and one type of file, and nobody can get a PDF wrong!! Pretty please?

Started putting mine together tonight to send. Really sad that I had to pack it up for the move now.

Was fun though and what survived the move is now in my office tank and starting to look better each day.

Ok so finally I got my fish health sorted out... Did a 100% water change today and removed the heater again. Boosting my O2 sat levels today and tomorrow furiously ferting again for the remaining week... Tank still looks vague but decent to say the least. Will see what the next week holds.

    Hahahaha ok kewl

for those who don't know how to convert a file to pdf go here http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/writer.asp

    D
ownload that app - we use it every day here in the office to convert autocad drawings to pdf. It is a free product that is really easy to use. Just install it, then once your document is ready to save, save it as normal, then go to file, print. There you choose the cutepdf wirter as the printer, and set up the document as you want to print it. It will then convert the files to pdf.

Oh and the great reason to pdf a document is this - mine was 100mb in the original format and now is 20mb. ;D
