added some new fish yesterday and now my plants are pearling! not like crazy but still! natural co2!

Well it's good news... My sister bought me a new 1.5ft tank with hood and light. So I have started putting all the additives and things back in just the hard scape and then water and the final plants. I really hope it will grow in a bit quicker than it did last time. Oh and this time I have a little power filter that I'm going to use instead of a water feature pump.

Excel seems to burn or melt a lot more than it seems to grow by way of the plants, so I'm keeping my dosages low at this stage.

 

I'm using excel in my tank too. No issues. I have HC, HM, L. aromatica and Myaca fluvialatis... All are doing really well. I think that the trick is to not overdose the Excel.

 

Im also using excel, but then again I use it maybe 2 times a week So my plants suffer less.

 

but excel is meant to make ur plants grow well not hurt them i know of ppl dosing 2x the amount everyday with ok results though..

LOL! That was supposed to be Wednesday 16 November.

But I want to extend it to 15 December. Just so everyone can make pretty, and also because the shipment will be delayed.

OK, Then it is official. I am moving the deadline. The new Deadline is Midnight on the 15th of December. I hope everyone uses the extra time wisely.

Hehehe fine then, I doubt that I will be doing much more to my tank. I am even considering stopping the excel completely to slow down the growth. I dont want to have to trim to much more before hand in date.
