    @Lizid @f-fish

    Nobody will be making profit from this competition... Come on guys, seriously. I'm running this competition for the benefit of the forums. Not to line my pocket. The prizes are costing me money, how the hell am I going to make profit? Come on... If I was going to use the journals as marketing, I would have stated that in the beginning. I'm just trying to do something for the good of the forum. Why does everything have to have ulterior motives??

    @Vis - Take pics of the tank before you have to break it up!! Then you can enter that "unfinished" scape.

    Will do. I will even try and keep it in tact for the move but not sure if it would be possible.

    Good luck @Vis!

    I have one of my stems which has decided to fight with me and wont stay rooted! Im letting it float this week and will replant at the weekend. Its hard not to fuss with the tank, but for now I am keeping my hands off, I will only trim in a few weeks time, its not nearly ready for a trim.

    @Vis, why not drain the tank completely,making sure you dont disturb the scape, use a tube to syphon. then use glad wrap to cover the top so you dont lose moisture. also save the water in a jerry can. then when you get to the new place all you have to do is slow drain the water back into the tank so the tank remains in its original state:) ive done this b4 with nannos. it works well because theres no water to "swoosh" around to mess up the scape when in transit.

    also makesure its not in direct sunlight when transporting.

    @Vis Good luck with the move, at least it's going to be closer to JHB and good fish shops. Moving is not something I would wish on my worst enemy, it's a horrible thing to have to go through, even if you are organised...:blink:

    Yeah moving with livestock is a bummer. Talking out of experience here... Lost 30% of my fish due to the drum bottom tearing out (factory fault that I didn't pick up). Was absolute torture otherwise and I moved a mere 20km.

    Did my damage trimming after the initial fert dosage... Tank looks empty now but will soon be back to it's former glory (I hope)
