Why are you adding your fish so soon? I'm only thinking of adding my fish towards the end...? @Zoom, you lucky thing what new substrate are you getting? I wish I could afford to get the good stuff...

Still not set up yet... but I do have some plants so far that are busy growing in another tank. No CO2 I promise, just liquid ferts.

OMG I'm 1 tank short of the double digits... I have a really bad case of MTS :stupid: Hehehe

MTS? Sheesh. Don't get me started on MTS. My wife now thinks it is an actual Syndrome!! I started with one, then that one now grew to 28 tanks... So under 10 isn't too bad!!

Yes... Ant farms in 30L fish tanks... NB: THEY MUST HAVE GLASS LIDS... Especially for the Bal Byters (Camponotus fulvopilosus)... They cause SERIOUS DAMAGE if they escape (Talking out of experience).... LOL!!!

Yes... These are the ones you REALLY don't want in your pants... But that is their true common name... You only find ants when you google: Bab-byter... LOL!!!

When these guys get mad they don't sting... They spray formic acid... Now just think how pleasant it is to relocate them to a new tank.... 0_0.. Hopefully i don't have to do that any time soon... And if they get the chance they bite until the blood starts flowing... But i LOVE THE LITTLE guys... (well BIG guys in ant terms about 1.5cm long)...

Think i've seen them on the BBC Life series. Almost looks and sounds like a machine gun when they let the acid go

Those in David Attenborough's Life in the undergrowth does the same, but it is another species... The ones i have the Camponotus fulvopilosus have a much smaller colony... My colony is between 90 and 120 individuals... Those in Sir David's life in the undergrowth is a colony of well over 10 000....

@Skye01 cant say now. What i can say is the products I got is direct competition to ada... Which will probably count against me in the competition, but hey, the stuff is fantastic, and Ive got pretty much the full range of liquid ferts as well. Altho in the nano, that would probably be suicide to use.

Actually decided to can my original competition entry tank, which was actually finished, and rescape my original nano. There was no point in 'wasting' all that lovely new stuff on a tank that i was only setting up for the competition. Now i am basically redoing my original nano, and entering that one.

Ok, now that @Zoom is out of the competition, you can all breathe a sigh of relief... :sheep:

LOL! Just kidding!! Hehehehehe... ADA is not available here yet, so you can use whatever you can get your hands on. That is the point of the competition. The winner can replace his "other" products with the ADA products.
