The last two are not hover flies. They are like normal bees. The only difference you can see is that hover flies are much more slender in the body where bees are much more rounder. It's so easy to misidentify them from the usual bees - they do mimic the bees but if you spend enough time around both, you will certainly see the difference. It's like a mom with identical twins, she knows the differences but other people won't see the differences. Heck, I even had trouble telling triplets apart (my friend's dad remarried after her mom died and the lady has 4 daughters, 3 are identical).

The last one is a honeybee, but the one before that is an hover fly for sure.
    Different eyes and one body.

    I quote this
Ok now I"m confused on the number of wings I"m seeing there.

LOL I just had a good laugh at the description of this one at the hover fly - it follows you if it likes you.:lol::lol::thumbup:

    Hahaha I like all descriptions.
My honeybees went nuts last week. I don't know but they attacked anyone moving.
Stung my uncle twice and followed me.
Now everyone is happy and mellow again.
    Weirddddd

    Yip me too.

Heck the other day I was thinking it was actually so fat it shouldn't have been able to fly in the first place. Made me laugh when I watched one try to land on a flower that wasn't even strong enough to support it and it then went down with the flower on the floor. I never giggled so much in my life.
