@wsteene only saw ur post now haha so you think 55cm ?? :O then my tank will be seriously out of proportion!! the reason its so funny is cause its goin into a certain play in my room and can only get a max length of 87 odd cm :(

I'm a scuba diver myself and being so far from the coast is terrible, did dive Bell's boy at PE in 2009, just had bad vis - about 700mm - 1m

k wow, why i just didnt do that earlier :O k so think 65 cm waaay to high!! :O thinkin 58cm if i go lower than it does look funny haha, think 68 is a good height, lighting oh goodness didnt even know that high tanks would have that trouble, do u think that it will be a major issue even on 58 cm?

meant 58cm in that last post my bad!! @wsteene yea they usually cancel the dive when its like that, when diving in yhe bay I.e phillips reef, bell bouy and if memory serves white sands, you dont usually get better than 5m EVER haha, usually 3-5, but had riy banks at like 15-20m vis and that was just beautiful!!!

T5 is brighter and if not mistaken can get higher wattage ratings and due to their size you can fit more T5's than T8's in your canopy
