Hi all. Thanks for all the welcome back's.

Firstly, sad news... my Super Red Golden Dragon HM female died this morning very unexpectedly, only had her for about 5 weeks. Here are some pics of her fry... Blue Fire Dragon HM male X Super Red Golden Dragon HM female... some of the fry has double tail deformities...??? so she must have Double tail genes in her because the other fry, Blue Fire Dragon HM male X White HM female are all perfect.



Did I battle to take pics of these guys... fast and small!

Maybe the female was naughty and slept with another male at some stage??
you know these things happen all over included fishes??

My next breeding endeavour... Metalic Silver Copper HM male X Black HM female.



Lets hope this batch is succesful. I added 10ml of Attison's Betta Spa to 10L of aged water for the breeding tank. Both are in the breeding tank today.

 

I'm interested in the fry from the Blue Fire Dragon HM Male x White HM female. How many white or silver white young do you have so far. I also like the green one from the next batch of pics.

What do you have by way of stock available at the moment @Charles?

 

@Skye01, there is roughly about 100 odd of them. They are still small though, the pics are close-ups, so don't be missled please. These fry of the Blue Fire Dragon HM male X White HM female were born on 5 February 2012, some are nice and big and some are small. (Biggest = +-3cm) They are thus 8 weeks and 5 days old and takes a variety of foods already. But you're most welcome to some of them if you like. PM me for further details.

 

Metalic Silver Copper HM male X Black HM female breeding attempt is a failure. The Black HM female ripped the poor male almost to shreds... shame. I removed them both. The black HM female is full of eggs so I will try her with my Green BTF HM male, he is still very fiesty and flaring at her and doing much tail wacking, will release the female tomorrow if he has build a nest otherwise I'll wait it out a bit until a nest is build.

I've found three stunning HM male's which I will collect on Friday the 13TH of all dates. I will post their pics then. WOW does'nt even enter into it when it comes to these 3 HM male's and then all three are HM Rose tail's as well and looks like they might be OHM, could'nt get them to flare fully. One of them looks almost like the Red/Purple/Orange HM male I posted on Rare and Most Wanted by Moolis. The one from Canada Betta. I'm so lucky to have found him. Can't wait to bring them home!!!!!

 

That is a stunning boy , I'm sure you will be proud to have him in your collection

How is all your spawns doing? And the fry?

 

@Rooivlerkie, my collection is comming on nicely. Spawns doing great except for the Blue Fire Dragon HM male X Super Red Gold Dragon HM female, most of them are deformed in one way or the other, couple of them came out Double tail's but there is a couple of them that looks good and have the blue dragon scale's. I decided to stop the Green BTF HM male X Black HM female spawn. I am going to cross her to one of my new HM Rosetail male's, Black Blue Lace HM male. So I will rather wait a week or two and then resume breding with her.

The Blue Fire Dragon HM male X White HM female spawn is doing very well, there are already some stunning fish amongst them. Will post some more pics of them in about two weeks or so.

I also started breeding with some Double tail's, will post when and if spawn is succesfull.

 

i'll post pics of my girls soon, i definately think i have a male among the ladies though. looks very similar to the green butterfly hm, the dad of the fry i have if im not mistaken

 

Ooooohhhhhh. WOW that is beautuful.

Please tell me where you got him. I am currently setting up a tank for a betta and would love one like this.
