    @AquaS
The one from 2008 is still the one in effect today. The new one is not law yet, and only a draft.

And as far as I am aware... my original post (#1) is in actual fact incorrect. If is on the blacklist, you may now keep it, trade (but or sell) it, nor breed or propagate it.

    Thanks Zoom!

Can you maybe still point me to where I can find this list on an official website. Just want to save the link, so I have it for the future again.

Thanks Zoom. Did read the whole thread.

Just had a couple of guys asking me to get hold of some fish and inverts for them and wanted to make sure if any of the species they wanted was on the list.

Whenever Mr. JZ signs it. It has been in the draft format for over a year now. Trust me, there is no rushing this thing. We could wait 1 week, we could wait another 10 years.

Zoom all inverts are blacklisted does this include the snails sold at pet-shops,

I also have a question here slightly of topic but more or less in the same ballpark lol

I was speaking to some one over the weekend who mentioned that all transportation of fish is illegal with out permits this includes the transporting of fish for out lps can someone confirm this of correct me?

This obviously poses load of issues which make every single one of us smugglers! LOL

Lizid, you are absolutely correct, we are all smugglers. I've heard this before as well. @Henk Hugo to confirm.

Yes, when I say ALL inverts are BL, then that includes the snails at LPS. (And probably a good chance the fish and plants they have are on the BL too.)

So there for based on this there are serious problems in the system, can we even be speaking about Blacklists or whitelists and JZ signing things off if in theory we should not even have fish at home cause not a single person on this forum has permits for transporting fish, in our cars let alone flying them around the country, (sponsors) Just my thoughts on this point.

I am glad wthe list has been revised but to be honest I think JZ has bigger fish to fry than our "little" Blacklist, somehow I dont think we are even going to see it signed next year or the one after that...

Hence I have given up on getting excited about things coming off or going on to the list.

    P.S. I like the idea of being a smuggler...heehee

We can even take this further... transporting your dog, cat, rat, mouse, snake, pet croc would also need a permit.

I'm sure we can even find a rule somewhere where we need a permit to transport oursleves!

    Point taken...

Look I think the best thing to do is to be educated and every person on this forum should know about the BL assuming they not new and if we are aware of the list we should know what we should or should not buy...
