Haha. Thanks man..... The best part is I dug it up at a nursery. Somewhere in the back and asked a staff member to find out if they will sell it to me. Paid 50 bucks for it...... Piece is about 90cm x 80cm x 70cm high and it nice and heavy. So will sink like a rock..... Only down side is that I'm going to have to cut it in some way as my tank is only 60cm wide.. But trust me I will be looking at that thing from a million angles before I cut it.... :)

No no...you got it all wrong. You need to upgrade the size of the tank to accommodate the piece of wood

Maybe split the piece down the centre and use them against the back of the tank, side by side like the roots of trees at a river bank?

That's what I was thinking also. But to get that angle just so is going to be a tough decision... The bigger tank idea seems like a much simpler solution......... Haha

I just rechecked your tank specs. That piece split will fill the tank perfectly. Hope you own a chainsaw :suspicious: Sorry, no money to support other peoples big tanks...

HI all. So time for a little update. Finally got my new stunning piece of wood into the tank (after 30min of sweat and a close call) and aside from a almost 10kg piece of wood floating now I'm not sure i like it.... Here is a before and after....... What do you guys think?
PS Sorry for the poor quality pics.

Nice man. You need to get some moss on that wood to cover those hard saw cuts. Take a look at Ivan's TOTM. He had hard cuts on the wood as well but it has covered up nicely. Maybe look at stacking some rocks of different sizes at the base of the wood once it stops floating...

Oh well looks like more light it is...... Thanks everyone for all the comments as well.... Must also just add that the tank is stained pretty dark atm with all the newish wood.... Everything has been soaking for almost a month now.... And @Hawk I like the moss idea @llewellynkearney also suggested moss and more light... Think I'm going the led chip route then... Will be cheaper to run in the long run.... Haha
Oh @top dog I had all my fish for sale but when push came to shove I decided to rather get another tank for the new project and keep my babies..... Dam things are like my kids now....
    Regards
    A
