Big tank on a small budget

    yeah me 2! but will probably only be in 2weeks waiting for the glass. then it needs to be pollished and built.the guy has a hectic schedule

    kloppers got bostick marine for R30.00 a tube. will let you know tomorrow about the glass for the bracing

    Very nice scape, I also like the dim partial lighting. It makes it look more natural and I guess the fish are more relaxed as well. Reminds me of this video.

    I sometimes watch this when I can't go to sleep :laugh:.

    Very very nice. Thanks for posting.... That's what I'm aiming for a nice Amazon biotope type setup. Just wish my tank was 3000l wow.......

    Got a nice surprise this morning. My Green Terrors spawned again.... Really hope the male did his job this time. :) Would love some baby GT's.

    Looks really nice @a3aan , Maybe some more wood and rocks for the centrepiece. You could make a few caves and get some fish that love/live in rocks. It would look so epic!

    There is actually allot of wood and caves in the tank although it does not look like it..... It too dam big... I have also been searching since I got the tank. For a nice BIG piece of wood but with no luck.... But we are going to Knysna in July so I really hope to find something there....
    As for the fish. My current stock does not allow for anything else. They will just become lunch.... But who knows what the future holds.... ;)

    Hi. I did post in your thread aswell. Its a 20watt 6500k and I think 2600lumens. My plan was to do 4 of them mounted flush in the canopy. Ordered them from CT at R260 per light.

    Morning... It you are talking about the black background its stonechip painted on the outside of the tank. Well its been on there for almost 8 months no prob. And the nice thing if I do want to change it, it scrapes of real easy... :)
